• This small plant is quite abundant in the Texas Panhandle.
• Flowers May to September.
• The small white flowers have a tongue-like lower lip petal with pink-purple lines and two pairs of side lobes. Being a member of the mint family, it has a square stem and the typical mint-like odor when handled.
• Prefers dry, alkaline type soils.
• Of little value to wildlife and livestock.
